Disconnected mind

No one can soothe my feelings

Darkness eats me away

Reflections fade away

No longer do I know myself

Just a shell of fear

I am a first-year student studying here at Gavilan as well as a first generation college student. I decided to participate in this poem submission because I enjoy writing small poems about my daily life and emotions.
